What yahoo mail misses

September 30, 2012

I’m trying to go from google to others services providers.

I’m trying yahoo mail and what I miss is:

  1. labels

I’m collecting here where others services win and where they lose.
Yahoo mail seems not bad but it misses labels and in general no other service allow you to organize mail as google do.
What about contracts? If you are interested in keep them in sync with your smartphone I think the best solution is to choose the service that integrates better with. I have not experience with that but Yahoo contacts seems not to be as customizable as google ones are. For example can not set photo, can not set mail phone or names and does not integrates with maps.
Now the yahoo agenda. Not a hardcore user of agenda but Yahoo one can not alert you via sms while google do. Yet it does not integrates with maps.
Now is turn of bookmarks. I don’t like google’s bookmarks. Bitly seems to be a good bookmarking service with a good privacy and public and privafte policies.
